Limited appointment availability may apply. Appointments are spaced farther apart and clients are also asked show up for appointments at the specified times, not earlier unless prearranged. If showing up earlier you may have to wait in your car until cleaning/disinfection is totally completed for your safety.
You may be asked a series of screening questions upon arrival depending on current regulations and requirements outlined for therapists by the CMTO and Health Canada, but as of June 8, 2022 there are no such requirements required.
Washing of hands when entering/exiting clinic. Hand sanitizer is provided at the front desk and hands free units available in clinic room and reception area.
Both the client and therapist are not required to wear face masks during treatments as of June 8, 2022, as per current guidelines for our sector from our regulating governing College of Massage Therapist of Ontario(CMTO) and the Chief Medical Officer of Health. I do appreciate that there may be some that still feel more comfortable with the use of masks during treatment, which can be graciously accommodated by the therapist upon request.
Rooms and linens are disinfected as per the new infection control protocol standards. Contact points are minimized and the debit machine has been updated to include a tap function.
Treatment receipts will be sent to your email on record for you. Paper receipts can be supplied upon request. We do not process your claims to your insurance providers on your behalf due to limited personal and limited time between appointments, but the receipts given for paid treatments can be submitted to the insurance providers by the Patient for claim reimbursement.
